AFP, nananatili sa “stable status” sa kabila ng ingay sa pulitika sa bansa

Nananatili ang “stable status” sa hanay ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa kabila ng ingay pulitika sa bansa.

Ito ay kasunod ng pagkakaaresto kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte at kaliwa’t kanang pagpapalaganap ng ‘fake news’ na naglalabasan sa social media.

Sa pulong balitaan sa Kampo Aguinaldo, sinabi ni AFP Spokesperson Colonel Francel Margareth Padilla, na walang deklarasyon ng “red alert” sa Sandatahang Lakas ng Pilipinas.

Muling iginiit ni Padilla na walang pangangailangan na magsagawa ng loyalty check sa AFP, dahil nananatiling matatag at propesyunal ang kanilang hanay.

Ayon kay Padilla, nakatuon din sila sa pagpapanatili ng kaayusan at seguridad sa bansa ngayong papalapit ang 2025 midterm elections.

Pinaalalahanan naman ng AFP ang publiko na maging mapanuri at i-verify sa mapagkakatiwalaang source ang mga impormasyong nababasa sa social media. | ulat ni Diane Lear
