BJMP, pinaigting ang mga hakbang para protektahan ang mga PDL sa matinding init ng panahon

Pinaigting ng Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) ang mga hakbang nito para maprotektahan ang mga persons deprived of liberty (PDL) sa init ng panahon.

Ayon kay BJMP chief Jail Director Ruel Rivera, inatasan na ang lahat ng jail facility na magpatupad ng mahigpit na hakbang laban sa mainit na panahon partikular na rito sa National Capital Region kung saan mataas ang temperatura at siksikan ang mga piitan.

Binigyan diin ni Rivera na kailangan na maging maagap upang maiwasan na magkasakit ang mga PDL na maaaring makuha sa init ng panahon.

Bilang tugon, naka-alerto na 24/7 ang mga jail health personnel at jail nurses ng BJMP para tumugon sa mga medical emergency.

Prayoridad din ng BJMP na ayusin ang bentilasyon sa mga piitan gaya ng paglalagay ng exhaust fans at ventilation shafts upang mapabuti ang airflow sa mga siksikang kulungan.

Nakipag-ugnayan na rin ang BJMP sa Bureau of Fire Protection para matiyak ang supply ng tubig sa mga jail facility. | ulat ni Diane Lear
