Mahigpit na binabantayan ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang sitwasyon kaugnay ng ika-80 kaarawan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte sa Biyernes, March 28.

Ito’y matapos magpahayag ang mga taga-suporta ng dating Pangulo na magkasa ng anila’y malawakang prayer rally para sa dating Pangulo at pamilya nito.

Ayon kay AFP Public Affairs Office Chief, Col. Xerxes Trinidad, bagaman handa silang umalalay, nakadepende pa rin ito sa Philippine National Police (PNP) na siyang lead agency pagdating sa seguridad.

Hindi man nagbigay ng eksaktong bilang, binigyang-diin ni Trinidad na tanging suporta ang maaaring ibigay ng AFP sa mga ganitong okasyon depende sa magiging takbo ng sitwasyon.

Gayunman, sinabi ni Trinidad na ibang usapan na kung mauwi sa gulo at karahasan ang mga ikinasang pagtitipon dahil makasisira na ito sa kapayapaan at kaayusan. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
