Kumpiyansa si Finance Secretary Ralph Recto na maaabot ng ekonomiya ng Pilipinas ang hindi bababa sa 6 porsyentong paglago ngayong taon.

Sa isang panayam ng Bloomberg TV, sinabi ni Recto na umaasa siya sa mas mababang interest rates, patuloy na paggasta sa imprastraktura, at election-related spending para mapalakas ang ekonomiya.

Aniya, maging ang World Bank, IMF (International Monetary Fund), at iba pang institusyon ay nagsasabing nasa tamang landas ang Pilipinas ayo patungo sa 6%.

Ito ay bunsod ng maganda ang ating macroeconomic fundamentals, bumaba ang unemployment at bumababang inflation, lumalawak ang middle class at mahigit 5% na GDP.

Gayunpaman, binanggit niya na isa sa mga panganib ay ang posibleng pagbagal ng pandaigdigang ekonomiya.
