Humigit kumulang sa 10 sasakyan, naharang at nasita ng SAICT dahil sa iba’t ibang paglabag

Hindi bababa sa 10 paglabag ang naitala ng Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (SAICT) sa ikinasa nilang random inspection sa mga public utility vehicle (PUV).

Katuwang ng SAICT ang mga tauhan ng Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) at Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) sa naturang operasyon sa Quezon City, nitong weekend.

Kabilang sa mga sinuyod ng SAICT Special Operations Group ay ang transport hubs sa A. Bonifacio Avenue, Cloverleaf at Project 7.

Sa naturang operasyon, lima rito ang hinuli dahil sa illegal na pagparada na nakasasagabal na sa daloy ng trapiko, dalawang kaso naman ng reckless driving, isa ang nagmamaneho nang hindi rehistradong sasakyan habang ang isa pa ay nahuli dahil sa depektibong handbreak

Binigyang diin ng SAICT, mandato nilang tiyakin na karapat-dapat bumiyahe sa lansangan ang isang sasakyan at siguruhing lagi ang kaligtasan ng kanilang mga pasahero. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
