Konstruksyon ng NLEX-C5 Northlink, sinimulan na

Opisyal nang lumarga ang konstruksyon para NLEX-C5 Northlink project ng Metro Pacific Tollways Corp (MPTC).

Ito ay kasunod ng isinagawang groundbreaking ceremony para sa proyekto nitong Martes na pinangunahan nina MPTC President at CEO Jose Ma. Lim, at NLEX Corp. OIC at Chief Finance Officer Maria Theresa Wells.

Dinaluhan din ito nina Valenzuela City Mayor Wes Gatchalian, at Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, at mga kinatawan mula sa Department of Transportation-Toll Regulatory Board (DOTr-TRB), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), at Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development-National Housing Authority (DHSUD-NHA).

Layon ng proyekto na palawigin ang NLEX Mindanao Avenue Toll Plaza hanggang Quirino Highway sa pamamagitan ng isang all-weather elevated expressway.

Oras na matapos ito, aabot sa 11.3 kilometro ang kabuuang haba ng NLEX-C5 Northlink na magbibigay ng direktang koneksyon mula Mindanao Avenue patungo sa C5 malapit sa Katipunan Avenue. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
