Mahigpit na monitoring ng senior high school voucher program, pinanawagan ni Senador Koko Pimentel

Pinuri ni Senate Minority Leader Koko Pimentel ang pagkakarecover ng Department of Education (DepEd) ng 65 million pesos na kwestiyonableng claims sa ilalim ng Senior High School Voucher Program.

Sa kabila nito, binigyang diin ni Pimentel na hindi sapat ang refund lang.

Pinanawagan ng senador ang mas mahigpit na oversight at dapat may mapanagot para maiwasan ang ganitong anomalya sa hinaharap.

Sinabi rin ng senador na bagamat positibo ang hakbang na ito ng DepEd ay pinapakita din nito ang mas malalim na problema sa mahinang monitoring at accountability sa ahensya.
