Malusog na pangangatawan at kapayapaan ng isipan ang hangad ng ilang mambabatas para kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na magdiriwang ng kaniyang kaarawan bukas.

Ayon kay Assistant Majority Leader Jude Acidre, kahit na may kinakaharap na kaso at nakaditene sa ICC ang dating presidente ay nais pa rin naman nila na nasa mabuti itong kalagayan.

“Well, we wish him the best of health. I think any of the meaningful person would want the former president healthy, wherever his mind and heart [are] right now. I hope these things would be something he would find peace in as he celebrates his 80th birthday,” ani Acidre.
