Mambabatas sa LGUs at mga resort: Higpitan ang seguridad para sa mga turista

Hiniling ni House Committee on Tourism Vice Chair Marvin Rillo sa mga lokal na pamahalaan at resort operators na maging mapagbantay, at tiyakin ang seguridad ng mga turista.

Kasunod ito ng pagpaslang sa Slovakian tourist na si Michaela Mickova sa Boracay.

Umaasa naman si Rillo na mahuhuli ng mga otoridad ang salarin at mapapanagot sa batas.

“We are counting on the authorities to swiftly apprehend the individuals responsible for this horrible crime. Every effort must be made to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure they are held accountable,” sabing mambabatas.

Dagdag niya na para hindi na maulit pa ito ay mahalagang maaresto ang suspek at maparusahan.

Kaya aniya mahalagang pagtulungan ng mga LGU, resort owners at alagad ng batas ang pagbabantay sa seguridad ng mga turista.
