Mas maraming pork traders at retailers, nakakasunod na sa MSRP — DA

Tumaas na ang porsyento ng mga pork traders at retailers na nakakasunod sa Maximum Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) sa baboy, ayon yan sa Department of Agriculture (DA).

Sinabi ni DA Spokesperson Assistant Secretary Arnel de Mesa, na mula sa 25% na compliance level, umakyat na sa 31% ng mga nagtitinda ang na-monitor ng DA na sumusunod sa MSRP na ₱350 sa kada kilo ng kasim at pige habang ₱380 naman sa kada kilo ng liempo.

Paliwanag nito, unti-unti nang dumarami ang mga nagtitinda sa palengkeng nakakasunod sa MSRP dahil dumami na rin ang mga trader na nagbaba ng presyo ng “sabit-ulo.”

Sa ngayon, umakyat na rin aniya sa 25% ang nakakasunod na mga pork traders sa itinakdang presyo ng “sabit-ulo.”

Umaasa naman ang kagawaran na mas marami pa ang makasunod sa MSRP para magkaroon ng maraming opsyon ng abot-kayang karne ang mga mamimili. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
