Mga transport group na sumusuporta sa modernization program, nakatakdang makipagdiyalogo kay DOTr Sec. Dizon

Kinumpirma ni Pasang Masda President Obet Martin na makikipagdiyalogo sila kay Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon ngayong linggo, para talakayin ang Public Transport Modernization Program (PTMP).

Ayon kay Martin, posibleng ngayong Huwebes ay makausap nila ang kalihim hinggil sa mga isyu sa modernization program at kung paano ito reresolbahin.

Giit naman nito, bukas ang nakararaming transport group na makipagtulungan sa pamahalaan para maisaayos ang pagpapatupad ng PTMP.

Hindi umano sila papayag na ipatigil ito lalo’t marami na sa kanila ang tumalima sa programa.

Wala rin aniyang katotohanan na may mga umatras sa modernization program.

Kaugnay nito, nanawagan naman si Ka Obet sa Land Transportation and Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) na padaliin ang proseso ng modernisasyon, at bawasan ang requirements nang hindi na mahirapan ang mga operator na gustong makiisa sa programa. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
