Itinuturing na magandang pagkakataon ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang nakatakdang pagbisita sa bansa ni United States Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson, Colonel Francel Margareth Padilla, patunay lamang ito ng “ironclad” o matibay na alyansa ng Pilipinas at Amerika.

Makatutulong din ito aniya upang mapatatag pa ang ugnayan ng dalawang bansa sa aspetong pang depensa at capacity building, na kinakailangan sa pagtataguyod ng kapayapaan at katatagan sa Indo-Pacific Region.
