Pagpapabalik kay FPRRD sa Pilipinas sa utos ng Supreme Court—Atty. Butuyan

Imposibleng mag-utos ang Korte Suprema na pabalikin sa Pilipinas si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na ngayon ay nasa kustodiya na ng International Criminal Court.

Ito ang sinabi ng isang abogado na accredited ng ICC sa gitna ng panawagan ng mga taga-suporta ng dating pangulo at ang nakahaing consolidated habeas corpus petition ng magkakapatid na Duterte sa SC.

Sa forum ng Meet the Manila Press, sinabi ni Atty. Joel Butuyan na hindi kayang magbigay ng utos ng SC sa mga hindi bahagi ng kaso, lalo na sa mga international organizations.

Wala aniyang jurisdiction ang SC sa ICC lalo na ang ipag-utos nito ang pagpapauwi sa dating pangulo.

Una nang sinabi ni Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla na “it’s a done deal” at tapos na na ang panawagang pagpapauwi kay Duterte at siya na rin naman daw mismo ang nagsabi na handa siyang harapin ang mga kaso sa ICC. | ulat ni Don King Zarate
