Nakatakdang magpulong sina Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr. at Pentagon Chief Pete Hegseth sa nalalapit na pagbisita nito sa bansa sa March 28-29.

Ito ang inanunsyo ni Teodoro sa kaniyang pagbisita sa ika-49 na anibersaryo ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Western Command sa lalawigan ng Palawan kahapon.

Batay naman sa abiso mula sa Department of National Defense (DND), isasagawa ang pagpupulong ng dalawang opisyal sa Kampo Aguinaldo.

Ito ang kauna-unahang pagkikita nila Teodoro at Hegseth matapos ang kanilang naging pag-uusap sa telepono noong Pebrero.

Dito, inaasahang palalalimin pa ng dalawang bansa ang ugnayan nito kasunod na rin ng pagbabalik sa poder ni US President Donald Trump. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
