Patuloy na magsisikap ang pamahalaan para mas mapababa pa ang inflation rate o pagbagal ng presyo ng mga pangunahing bilihin para na din sa mamamayan.

Sa Malacañang Briefing, inihayag ni Palace Press Officer Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro na partikular na kumikilos ang
National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) upang mapabagal pa ang inflation.

Kasingkahulugan ito ng gagawing pagtugon ng gobyerno laban sa anomang potensiyal na pagtaas ng mga bilihin.

Lumalabas ani Castro na sa record ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) na mula July 2024 ay buwan-buwang nababawasan ang inflation rate.

Partikular na dito ang mabagal na pagtaas ng presyo ng pagkain gaya ng gulay at iba pang produkto gaya ng non-alcoholic beverages na kung saan, bumagal sa 2.1 percent ang inflation rate at serbisyo sa bansa nitong Pebrero mula sa 2.9 percent noong Enero. | ulat ni Alvin Baltazar
