Pangulong Marcos Jr., binigyan ng briefing sa status ng Cavite-Laguna Expressway

Iniinspeksyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand Marcos Jr., ang bahagi ng Cavite-Lagina Expressway o CALAX Subsection 3, sa General Trias, Cavite.

Kasama ng Pangulo sina Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla, Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon, at MPTC President Jose Ma. Lim.

Habang nag-iinspeksyon, binigyan ng briefing ang Pangulo kaugnay sa status ng CALAX na inaasahang matatapos sa ikatlong quarter ng taon.

Ang CALAX ay higit 44 (44.57km) na kilometrong expressway na may apat na lane simula sa Centennial Road sa Kawit, Cavite at nagtatapos sa Greenfield Property sa Biñan City, Laguna.

Ang CALAX ay isang infrastructure flagship project ng administrasyong Marcos, at layong maibsan ang traffic congestion, mapagaan ang biyahe, at mapasigla ang komersyo sa cavite, laguna, at iba pang katabing lalawigan sa CALABARZON.

Sa oras na makumpleto ang buong Calax project, inaasahang mapaiikli nito sa 35 minuto mula sa dalawang oras ang biyahe mula Kawit hanggang SLEX.

Ang Governor’s Drive Interchange ay higit 8 kilometrong segment (8.64km) na nagdurugtong sa Silang (Aguinaldo) Interchange hanggang Governor’s Drive sa General Trias, Cavite.

Susi ito upang mapabilis ang biyahe at mabawasan ang congestion sa rehiyon. | ulat ni Racquel Bayan
