Pilot testing ng PWD unified ID, target simulan sa Hulyo

Plano ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) na masimulan na sa Hulyo ang pilot testing para sa PWD Unified ID.

Sa pulong balitaan sa PIA, sinabi ni DSWD Assistant Secretary Atty. Elaine Fallarcuna, na ongoing na ang procurement para sa software at hardware ng unified ID.

Nagbalangkas na rin ng Technical Working Group para sa Policy Development at System Development sa NCDA.

Tina-target na maisama sa pilot rollout ang 32 LGUs sa bansa o kumakatawan sa 200,000 PWDs.

Tatagal ang pilot testing hanggang Disyembre bago ang full implementation nito sa 2026.

Tiniyak naman ng DSWD na magkakaroon ng advanced security feature gaya ng QR Code ang PWD unified ID system nang hindi na ito mapeke at maabuso. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
