Inatasan na ng Department of Foreign Affairs ang Konsulado ng Pilipinas sa Guangzhou, China na magpaabot ng assistance sa napaulat na tatlong Pilipinong nakulong sa China.

Ayon kay DFA Spokesperson Teresita Daza, inatasan na nila ang konsulado doon na agarang bigyan ng legal assistance ang 3 Pilipinong nakulong sa China at ang iba pang assistance na maaring ibigay sa sa mga ito.

Dagdag pa ni Daza na patuloy ang kanilang pakikipag-ugnayan sa mga kinauukulan upang makuha ang dahilan sa pagkakaaresto sa kanila.

Sa huli, muli namang siniguro ng DFA na hindi nila papababayaan ang kalagayan ng 3 Pilipino sa China at muli nilang siniguro na prioridad nilang mapalaya ang mga ito. | ulat ni AJ Ignacio
