Imbestigasyon sa P11-B na halaga ng gamot at bakuna sa DOH warehouses, muling inihirit

Muling nanawagan si Representative Wilbert Lee para paimbestigahan ang nasa P11 billion na halaga ng gamot at bakuna na nag-expire sa Department of Health (DOH) warehouses at health facilities, na una nang napuna ng Commission on Audit (COA).

Ito ay matapos maghain din sa Senado ng resolusyon si Senator Joel Villanueva para sa kaparehong hakbang.

Aniya, hindi katanggap-tanggap ang kapabayaan na ito dahil nasayang dito ang pondo at serbisyo para sa mga Pilipino.

Disyembre 2024 pa naghain si Lee ng resolusyom para siyasatin kung bakit napabayaang mag-expire ang mga gamot at bakuna kasama ang nasa 7 million na vials ng COVID-19 vaccine.

Pinagsusumite din ng mambabatas ang DOH ng komprehensibong report na naglalaman ng lahat ng nag-expire na supplies, kasama ang COVID-19 vaccine at ang mga hakbang na ginawa para ito tugunan. | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
