Kadiwa stores, aabot sa 1,500 pagdating ng 2028 — Malacañang

Positibo ang Malacañang na mas lalawak pa ang mapagsisilbihan ng pamahalaan kaugnay ng inilalapit nitong murang pagkain para sa mamamayan.

Ito ay ang Kadiwa ng Pangulo na sinisikap na maipakalat sa iba’t ibang bahagi ng bansa.

Sa Malacañang briefing, sinabi ni Palace Press Officer at Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Atty. Claire Castro, na kanilang inaasahang aabot sa 1,500 Kadiwa stores sa buong bansa ang maitatatag pagsapit ng 2028.

Alinsunod na rin aniya ito sa pangako ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na magbigay ng abot-kaya at de kalidad na pagkain.

Kaugnay nito ay patuloy na nagtutulungan naman ang iba’t ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan, para mas maipakalat pa sa iba’t ibang lugar ang Kadiwa stores, at patunay dito ang nalagdaang kasunduan ng Department of Agriculture (DA) at Philippine Postal Corporation o PHLPost.

Sa ilalim ng nasabing agreement ay titiyakin ng DA na ligtas at de kalidad ang mga produktong ibinibenta, habang ang PHLPost naman ang magbibigay ng espasyo at kagamitan para sa maayos na operasyon ng mga tindahan.

Mula sa anim na post office na mayroong operasyon ng Kadiwa ay palalawakin na ito sa 67 post office sa Metro Manila at iba pang bahagi ng Luzon, Visayas at Mindanao. | ulat ni Alvin Baltazar
