Nangako si House Speaker Martin Romualdez na patuloy na makikipagtulungan ang Kamara sa pribadong sektor upang masiguro na ang paglago ng ekonomiya ng bansa ay pangmatagalan at inklusibo.
Ginawa ito ng lider ng Kamara sa 34th Biennial Convention Dinner ng Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII).
“As Speaker of the House, I assure you of our continued support. Together with President Marcos, we will continue to work hand-in-hand with the private sector to create the conditions for inclusive, sustainable, and innovation-led growth,” saad ni Romualdez.
Kasabay nito ay kinilala rin ni Romualdez ang malaking kontribusyon ng pederasyon sa national development dahil sa kanilang commitment sa pagtataguyod ng bansa sa pamamagitan ng entrepreneurship, civic involvement, at cultural solidarity.
Pagbibida pa ng House Speaker na nitong 2024, sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., nakapagtala ang Pilipinas ng isa sa pinakamataas na GDP sa ASEAN, mas magandang credit rating, matatag na halaga ng piso, pagdami ng trabaho, at pagbagal ng inflation.
At ang mga progresong ito ay dahil sa pakikipag-ugnayan ng pamahalaan sa pribadong sektor gaya ng FFCCCII.
“From supporting government compliance campaigns to your flagship Operation: Barrio Schools, your federation proves that businesses thrive best when they give back to society. You have built schools, organized medical missions, conducted relief efforts, and mobilized resources during national emergencies. You have done all these quietly and consistently — and for that, you have our admiration and gratitude,” saad pa niya.
Pagtiyak ni Romualdez sa mga Filipino-Chinese businessmen na ipagpapatuloy ng Kamara ang pagsusulong ng mga reporma upang mapalakas ang mga entrepreneurs, maliit man o malaki.
Kasama na rito ang pag-alis ng red tape at pagtulak sa digitalized public services.
