Pagkakabilang ng West PH Sea sa Google Maps, welcome sa AFP

Welcome sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang pagkakabilang ng “West Philippine Sea” sa Google Maps.

Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson, Colonel Francel Margareth Padilla, patunay lamang ito ng pagkilala ng mundo sa sovereign rights ng bansa salig sa 2016 Arbitral Ruling sa ilalim ng United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS).

Bilang tagapagtanggol ng soberaniya ng bansa, itinuturing ito ng AFP bilang napakahalagang ambag sa pagpapahayag ng katotohanan.

Gayundin ang pagpapalawak sa kamalayan ng publiko.

Binigyang diin pa ni Padilla, na mananatili ang AFP sa pagtupad nito sa kanilang tungkulin na protektahan ang bansa at itaguyod ang pamabansang integridad. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
