Private at public sector, nagsanib pwersa para palakasin ang digital education sa bansa

Nagkaisa ang Department of Education (DepEd), Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), RepublicAsia, at iACADEMY sa isang makabagong hakbang para isulong ang digital learning sa bansa.

Sa pangunguna ng RepublicAsia, pinirmahan ngayong araw ang kasunduan para sa programang “Pay IT Forward: A Digital Transformation Advocacy.”

Layunin nitong palakasin ang access ng mga estudyante sa teknolohiya at mapalawak ang digital education sa mga pampublikong paaralan.

Ayon kay RepublicAsia CEO Bran Reluao, ang inisyatiba ay bahagi ng kanilang adbokasiya na gawing mas abot-kaya at pantay-pantay ang digital learning para sa lahat.

Magdo-donate ang RepublicAsia ng 100 tablets at tatlonf Starlink devices sa mga pampublikong paaralan sa Cebu.

Samantala, sinabi ni iACADEMY President Raquel Wong, na ang proyekto ay hindi lamang basta donasyon kung hindi isang investment para sa kinabukasan ng kabataang Pilipino.

Dagdag pa niya, ang access sa teknolohiya ay hindi na pribilehiyo kung hindi isang pangangailangan.

Kabilang sa mga dumalo sa pirmahan sina DICT Secretary Henry Aguda at DepEd Assistant Secretary Paolo Bartolome.
