Patuloy na umaani ng suporta ang Pilipinas sa international community sa layunin nitong palakasin ang Sandatahang Lakas ng bansa.

Ito’y makaraang magpahayag ng suporta ang Finnish multinational company na Nokia sa Self-Reliant Defense Posture Program ng Pilipinas.

Ginawa ng Finland ang pahayag makaraang bumista si Finnish Ambassador to the Philippines Saija Nurminen kay Defense Sec. Gilbert Teodoro Jr. kamakailan.

Ang nasabing hakbang ng Finland ay tumutukoy sa pagpapalakas ng Defense Department at ng AFP hindi lamang sa sarili nitong kapasidad kungdi sa kakayahan nitong lumikha ng military supplies.

Magugunitang nitong weekend lang, inihayag ni AFP Chief of Staff, Gen. Romeo Brawner sa India na target nilang makabili ng mga karagdagang kagamitan gaya ng missile system, frigate at fighter jet para sa pinagiting na deterrent force. | ulat ni Jaymark Dagala
