Nagbabala si Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon sa mga shipping line na huwag umabuso sa pamamagitan ng pagsasakay ng sobra-sobrang pasahero para lamang sa dagdag na kita.

Ginawa ni Dizon ang babala kasunod ito ng nahuling overloaded na barko sa Batangas port na patungo sana sa Romblon.

Kaugnay nito ay inatasan ng kalihim ang Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority, at Maritime Industry Authority na maglabas ng show cause order laban sa naturang barko.

Ayon kay Dizon, mahaharap sa parusa ang mga lalabag na shipping line at tiniyak nito na hindi kukunsintihin ng Department of Transportation ang ganitong klaseng pang-aabuso. | ulat ni Diane Lear
