“This is why we’re pursuing an executive order to institutionalize the localization of our national action plan on women peace and security.” -Sec. Mel Senen Sarmiento, OPAPRU
“Declarations and policies do not keep the peace. Leaders like us do, if we do our work well.” -Ermelita Valdeavilla, PCW Chairperson
“The meaningful participation of women is integral to the country’s peace building and development initiatives.” -Usec. Maria Theresa Dizon-De Vega, DFA
