Public Attorney’s Office, umaapela sa Malacañang na pag-aralan din ang kaso ng recruiter ni Mary Jane Veloso na nakakulong ngayon sa bansa

Hinihikayat ni Public Attorney’s Office Chief Percida Acosta ang Malacañang na muling pag-aralan ang kaso ng dalawang recruiter ni Mary Jane Veloso.

Ayon kay Atty. Acosta, parehong biktima rin sina Julius Lacanilao at Maria Cristina Sergio na kapwa nakakulong ngayon sa Pilipinas.

Sina Lacanilao at Sergio ay parehong kliyente ng Public Attorney’s Office.

Sinabi ni Acosta na walang kinalaman ang dalawa sa mga nahuling drugs sa bagahe ni Veloso noong ito ay nagtungo sa Indonesia.

Ang naging papel lamang umano ng dalawa ay tinulungan si Veloso na magproseso ng kanyang mga papel at nagbigay ng pamasahe patungong Indonesia.

Hindi daw tutol ang PAO sa anumang igagawad ng gobyerno ng Pilipinas na pagpapatawad kay Veloso subalit dapat din daw isama sa pag-aaralan ang kaso nina Lacanilao at Sergio. | ulat ni Mike Rogas
