Nirerespeto ng Kamara ang veto power ng Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

Ito ang inihayag ni House Appropriations Committee Chair Elizaldy Co, matapos gamitin ng Punong Ehekutibo ang kaniyang veto power nang lagdaan ang 2025 General Appropriations Act.

Ani Co, kinikilala nila ang constitutional prerogative at judgement ng Presidente at nananatiling handa ang Kongreso na makipagtulungan sa Ehekutibo.

Nasa ₱194 billion na halaga ng items sa 2025 budget ang vineto ng Pangulo na hindi naaayon sa socioeconomic agenda ng administrasyon.

Kabilang dito ang ilang proyekto sa ilalim ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) at unprogrammed appropriations.
