Binigyang diin ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang malaking papel na gagampanan ng Philippine Stock Exchange oras na mapagtibay ang panukalang Maharlika Investment Fund.
Sa pagdalo ng House leader sa inagurasyon ng PSE Event Hall, sinabi nito na oras na mai-set up na ang Maharlika Investment Fund ay tiyak nahahanap ito sa PSE ng blue chip investments para makakuha ng mas malaking dibidendo.
Ang kita naman mula dito ang siyang ibubuhos sa iba’t ibang social at infrastructure program ng pamahalaan para sa ikauunlad ng bansa.
“The corporation that will be created to manage the Maharlika Investment Fund will invariably look to the PSE in its search for blue chip investment opportunities, from which handsome dividends may be generated – dividends which shall be channeled to fund the government’s strategic social programs towards the achievement of the nation’s larger development goals,” saad ni Romualdez.
