Nakalatag na ang mga proyektong tututukan ng Philippine National Railway (PNR) ngayong 2025, para sa pagpapagaan pa ng pagbiyahe ng mga mananakay ng tren.

Sa Bagong Pilipinas Ngayon, sinabi ni PNR General Manager Diovanni Miranda, na partikular na dito ang migration ng mga tren na dating ginagamit mula Maynila patungong Laguna.

Sa ganitong paraan aniya, madaragdagan ang mga tren na nag-o-operate sa Southern Luzon.

Bukod dito, tuloy-tuloy rin aniya ang pagsasaayos ng tulay sa Quezon, at ang rehabilitasyon ng mga riles.

Kabilang na iyong mga naapektuhan ng nagdaang bagyong Kristine at pagguho ng lupa.

Ang target aniya nila sa PNR, masigurong magtutuloy-tuloy ang railway line mula Bicol hanggang Laguna, kasabay ng pagtitiyak na road-worthy ang mga tren at riles na ito. | ulat ni Racquel Bayan
