Idineklara ng Malacañang na regular holiday a ng Hunyo 28, 2023 sa buong bansa.

Ito ay upang bigyang daan ang Eid’l Adha o ang Feast of Sacrifice ng mga kapatid nating Muslim.

Sa ilalim ng Proclamation no. 258, binigyang diin na ang Eid’l Adha ay isa sa dalawang malalaking selebrasyon ng Islam.

“Following the 1444 Hijrah Islamic Lunar Calendar, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos has recommended that 28 June 2023, Wednesday, be declared a national holiday, in observance of Eid’l Adha,” — Proclamation 258.
