Seryoso ang National Housing Authority na ilikas ang mga pamilyang nakatira sa mga mapanganib na lugar sa Metro Manila.

Prayoridad ng NHA na mailipat ang mga pamilyang ito na nakatira mga gilid ng estero, sapa, tabing ilog, at iba pang daluyan ng tubig.

Kasama sa programa ang Pasig River Rehabilitation na may libo-libong pamilya ang kinakailangan ding ilipat sa ligtas at maayos na lugar.

Iniiwasan ng NHA na maulit ang trahedya noon sa Estero de Magdalena sa Maynila na ikinasawi ng ilang katao at pagkasugat ng iba pa.
