Tuluyang nang pinagtibay ng Mababang Kapulungan ang LEDAC priority measure na House Bill 8400 o Trabaho para sa Pilipino Act.
Positibo ang Kamara na sa pamamagitan ng panukala ay matutugunan ang problema ng bansa kaugnay sa underemployment at unemployment.
“Now that we are recovering gradually from the health crisis, we have to regain lost jobs and create more employment and income opportunities for our people. Through this plan, and with the cooperation of the concerned agencies and especially of local government units (LGUs) throughout the country, we hope to address these twin issues related to employment,” sabi ni Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Sa ilalim ng panukala ay bubuoin ang Jobs Creation Plan (JCP) na magsisilbing national master plan para sa employment generation at recovery ng bansa
Itatatag din ang isang Inter-Agency Council for Jobs and Investments na bubuuin ng Department of Trade and Industry, Department of Labor and Employment, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, Department of Migrant Workers, Department of Budget and Management, Department of Finance, National Economic and Development Authority, at isang kinatawan mula sa management at labor organization.
Pag-iisahin nito ang employment, livelihood at training projects at programs para sa preserbasyon at paglikha ng dagdag na trabaho.
Tutulungan din ang mga LGU sa pagpa-plano at pagpapatupad ng kanilang sariling employment recovery at job generation programs.| ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
