The Philippine government rejoices with the success of the Saudi Embassy to the Philippines for hosting its 93rd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Taguig City.
About hundreds of invited guests such as from government, diplomatic corps, international organizations, business, academia came to witness the vibrant and culture-oriented celebration and had the taste of the country’s fine dishes.
Along who graced the occasion were Senators Richard Gordon, Alan Peter Cayetano and Robinhood Padilla, Mindanao State University-System President Basari Mapupuno, and representatives from different agencies.
The event headed by His Excellency Hisham S.A. Alqahtani, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of the Philippines, thanked the Philippine government for its undying support to the kingdom not to mention the strengthened bilateral relations.
Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Antonio Morales who represented President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., even emphasized how close the kingdom to the hearts of Filipinos for its country hosted thousands of Overseas Filipino Workers for decades and still is the country that has the greatest number of Filipinos.| via Princess Habiba Sarip-Paudac
