Ipinag-utos ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang pagbuo sa Inter-Agency Committee na tututok sa mga paghahanda at pag-organize ng mga aktibidad para sa Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) na gaganapin sa Pilipinas sa susunod na taon.

Sa apat na pahinang Administrative Order No. 09 na pirmado ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, ika-26 ng Setyembre, nakasaan ang pagtanggap ng Pilipinas sa paghohost ng ika-10 session sa 2024.
“To ensure the successful preparation and hosting of the 2024 APMCDRR, an inter-agency committee shall be constituted to oversee preparatory and organizing activities,” —PCO.
Inaatasan ang konseho na mag-sumite ng periodic reports sa Office of the President, sa pamamagitan ng Office of the Executive Secretary, kaugnay sa development ng mga paghahanda, at iba pang functions nito, para sa ikatatagumpay ng kaganapan.

Inaatasan rin ang lahat ng tanggapan ng pamahalaan na asistehan ang bubuuing konseho upang magampanan nito ang kanilang mandato.
