Hinihikayat ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. ang Federation of Free Farmers (FFF) na siguruhing mananatiling buhay ang pamanang iniwan ng kanilang founding members, sa pamamagitan ng pagsusulong pa sa layon ng samahan na palakasin ang mga magsasaka at mangingisda ng bansa.
Sa ika-70 anibersaryo ng pederasyon ngayong araw (October 25), nanawagan ang pangulo sa mga miyembro nito na manatiling tapat sa kanilang misyon sa pag-aangat ng buhay ng bawat Filipino rural worker.
“I urge all members of the FFF to keep the legacy of the founding members, keep it alive, stay true to your mission of uplifting all the lives of every Filipino rural worker,” —Pangulong Marcos.
Kaugnay nito, pinapurihan ng pangulo ang pitong produktibong dekada ng pederasyon, para sa patuloy na development ng agri sector ng Pilipinas.
“Through your programs and initiatives, you have effectively elevated and empowered the voices of our small farmers, fisherfolk, and rural workers, across the nation,” —Pangulong Marcos.
Habang siniguro ng pangulo ang commitment ng administrayon na palakasin pa ang agricultural productivity ng bansa, lalo’t isa ito sa prayoridad ng pamahalaan.
