Dialysis session, pinasasagot ng buo sa PhilHealth

Humirit ang isang kongresista sa PhilHealth na sagutin na ng buo ang dialysis ng kidney patients na miyembro ng state health insurer.

Ayon kay AGRI Party-list Representative Wilbert Lee, wala dapat limitasyon ang PhilHealth sa sasakupin ng kanilang dialysis session na ngayon ay nasa 156 sessions.

Maliban dito, pinatataasan na rin ng mambabatas ang sinasagot ng PhilHealth pagdating sa chemotherapy, heart bypass surgery, at iba pang mga kinakailangang treatment sa malulubhang karamdaman, pati na sa mga diagnostic tests at preventive measures.

Punto ni Lee na kailangan nang repasuhin ng PhilHealth ang kanilang case rate upang maikonsidera ang inflation rate at tumataas na halaga ng heath care.

“With inflation, room rates in hospitals have increased… At itong case rates o basehan kung gaano kalaki ang sinasagot ng PhilHealth sa mga bayarin, hindi pa ito nare-review nang mahigit 10 o 11 taon. So there’s really a need to adjust this,” sabi ni Lee. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
