“Currently, El Nino is strong that peaking towards last quarter of 2023, and towards first quarter of 2024, that’s the peak. So currently, our typhoons, tropical cyclones, we have only 10. And we expect one to two towards the end of the year. So at the maximum, maybe we’ll have 12 tropical cyclones this year. So, there’s a reduction. So most of the water that we harvest is basically through the presence of tropical cyclones, so if we have reduction of tropical cyclones, that’s the reason why we also have reduction of rainfall. And that’s the early impacts of the El Niño,” sabi ni Cinco. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
