Binigyang pagkilala ng International Monetary Fund (IMF) ang kasalukuyang administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. sa paglulunsad nito ng food stamp program ng pamahalaan para sa mga mahihirap na pamilyang Pilipino.
Ayon sa IMF, ang food stamp program ng kasalukuyang administrasyon ay magpapabuti para maabot pa lalo nito ang mga pamilyang Pilipino na kasama sa mga most vulnerable.
Malaki rin umano, ayon sa IMF, ang potensyal ng proyekto na mapalawak pa ang sakop at ang mga makikinabang dito.
Dagdag pa ng IMF, tugma rin daw ito sa matagumpay na Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) na nagbibigay ng conditional cash transfer sa mga pinakamahihirap ng pamilyang Pilipino.
Maliban sa food stamp program, pinuri rin ng IMF ang ilan pang initiyatibo ng pamahalaan partikular sa mabilis nitong mga policy action sa pamamagitan ng Medium-Term Fiscal Framework (MTFF) at contractionary monetary policy para labanan naman ang mabilis na inflation. | ulat ni EJ Lazaro
