Positibo si Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. na malaki ang papel na gagampanan ng Philippine Domestic Submarine Cable Network sa layon ng administrasyon na magpaabot ng maaasahan at abot-kayang internet service sa mga Pilipino.
“Tonight, what we have done here will accelerate the pace of our improvement anew as we light up the beam of the Philippine Domestic Submarine Cable Network or the PDSCN,” —Pangulong Marcos.
Sa pagpapasinaya sa higit 2,500 kilometer fiber optic backbone network infrastructure na ito, sinabi ng Pangulo na bibilis na ang internet speed para sa mga Pilipino, lalo na sa mga sa liblib na lugar.
“The project that you initiated, and meticulously completed without much fanfare, is truly a game changer in the Philippines’ quest to be amongst equals in terms of internet interconnectivity and digital transformation,” — Pangulong Marcos.
Isa aniya itong long-term solution na magbibigay ng high-connectivity at high-speed internet para sa mga Pilipino, tungo sa pagsasakatuparan ng isang Bagong Pilipinas.
Ang proyektong ito ang pinakamahaba at highest capacity domestic submarine fiber cable network sa Pilipinas na kokonekta sa mga isla sa Pilipinas mula sa Quezon hanggang Zamboanga.
Dahil dito, mas magiging kaaya-aya aniya ang Pilipinas para sa mga dayuhang mamumuhunan.
