“For me that’s a good sign. We have seen the President visit other countries para ang dating po naman hindi lang po project-fishing, investment-fishing but of course the President is doing his job in terms of course strengthening our ties with our allies. And this is a practice not only of the country but other countries as well.
“I think the fact that there is a country that highly supports and by the term ironclad highlights also the amount of trust that our allies have put on us as well. And this would not have been possible without the efforts of everyone in the administration especially to our President who has been tirelessly looking for connections, for allies and also enhancing them,” saad ni Almario
“…any support to push further that assertion is a welcome and positive development, specially coming from the longest ally of the Philippines which is the United States of America. It only reaffirms the commitment of our allies in the West to make sure that the Philippine territorial integrity and sovereignty is respected…that actually is a moral booster for this administration and as well as a support for the Philippines to really impose its territorial integrity in the region.” ani Adiong
“we greatly appreciate the statements by Secretary Blinken in reaffirming his commitments in defending the Philippines with respect to the sovereignty and territorial integrity. This message of commitment and reaffirmation sends a powerful message that there is solidary and support. In other words. we stand united in safeguarding regional peace and security.” dagdag ni Bongalon
Masasabi naman ani Deputy Speaker David Suarez na nasa ‘all time high’ ang relasyon ng Pilipinas at US lalo na at kamakailan lamang ay nagpadala ng Trade Mission ang US sa bansa, bago ang pagbisita si Sec. Blinken. | ulat ni Kathleen Forbes
