Nilinaw ng Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) na peke ang kumakalat na operational documents online na muling naghahatak sa pangalan ni Pang. Ferdinand R Marcos Jr.
Partikular ito sa social media post kung saan pinalalabas na nasa drug list si Pangulong Marcos at may nakalakip pang larawan ng isang Authority to Operate at Pre-Operation Report, na may petsang March 11, 2012.
Sa isang pahayag, sinabi ng PDEA na walang anumang operation ang naka-log sa naturang petsa sa kanilang Plans and Operations Reports Management Information System o PORMIS.
Giit pa ng PDEA, hindi maaaring ma-tamper ang recorded operations na nakalagay sa information system.
“A critical feature of PORMIS is that one cannot insert or tamper with recorded operations. All pre-operation documents are serialized and recorded in this database. This ensures the system’s integrity and negates any doubt on the data the system contains.”
Kaugnay nito, muling pinag-iingat ng PDEA ang publiko sa mga impormasyong nababasa online nang hindi mabiktima ng fake news.
“In an age where Artificial Intelligence can generate realistic fake videos, spurious documents and fantastic claims at having ‘insider information’, the public is cautioned to be more careful in believing such fake news.”
Una nang nilinaw ng PDEA na hindi kailanman napabilang si Pang. Marcos sa kanilang National Drug Information System o NDIS, na nagsisilbi nitong database ng mga drug personalities. | ulat ni Merry Ann Bastasa
