Inaaral ngayon ng Toll Regulatory Board, kasama ang operators ng North Luzon Expressway at South Luzon Expressway na patawan na ng multa ang mga motorista na kulang o walang load ang RFID.
Isa ito sa mga lumabas na problema ng NLEX kaya nauwi sa mahabang pila ng sasakyan sa naturang expressway noong nakaraang Miyerkules Santo.
Ayon kay Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) President Rogelio Singson, noong araw na iyon ay mayroong 5,000 sasakyan na kulang o walang load ang RFID at may 5,000 iba pa na palyado na ang sticker.
Sa kabila naman aniya ng panawagan, marami pa rin ang dumadaan sa NLEX na kulang o walang kargang load ang RFID.
Kaya isa sa kanilang solusyon upang madisiplina ang mga motorista ay ang gawin itong traffic violation.
Sa pulong ng operators ng expressways kasama si Deputy Majority Leade Erwin Tulfo, ay naipaabot na nila ang suhestyon kay DPWH Sec. Manuel Bonoan.
Ito ay upang makapagpalabas ng department order ang DPWH na magpaskil ng signages sa mga toll booth na magbababala sa mga motorista na ang pagdaan sa expressways ng kulang o walang load ay maaaring mauwi sa traffic violation. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
