Pantaleon Alvarez.
Ayon kay Rodriguez, hindi makatwiran ang apela ni Alvarez sa Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na bawiin ang suporta kay Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.
“Well, he is a friend, but if others are minded, then that can be a basis for a complaint in the ethics committee,” ani Rodriguez.
“We have a regularly elected officials of our country and the President was elected with a big majority, he has the support of our people…calling for…rebellion by the soldiers is uncalled for,” dagdag niya Rodgriguez
“There is no such thing [as a peaceful and orderly withdrawal of support]…Because when you ask for a withdrawal of support, then there would be a conflict. Because those who will heed this advice and withdraw support, the others who are supporting the President would have to come in also and enforce the law, you see,” paliwanag niya.
