Nasa halos 30,000 na Cagayanon ang nakabenipisyo sa serbisyo at ayudang dala ng Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair na inilunsad sa Cagayan de Oro City.
Pinangunahan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez ang paglulunsad ng ika-17 BPSF at ika-anim sa Mindanao.
“Isa na namang matagumpay na BPSF ang ating naisagawa sa CDO. Target po natin ang mga lalawigan sa Mindanao, kaya isusunod na natin ang Tawi-Tawi at Davao del Norte matapos tayong manggaling sa Zamboanga City nitong nakaraan,” sabi ni Speaker Romualdez.
38 ahensya ng pamahalaan ang nakibahagi sa BPSF na may 213 serbisyo na magtatagal hanggang bukas May 17.
Kabuuang P286 million na halaga ang serbisyo at tulong ang naipamahagi kabilang ang city-wide AICS payout sa may 26,000 AICS beneficiaries.
Napagkalooban din ng 200,000 na kilo ng bigas ang piling mga benepisyaryo.
Mayo 17 ay ilulunsad ang SIBOL Program na mamamahagi ng P5,000 financial aid para sa mga 3,000 MSME kasama ang 5 kilo ng bigas.
Gayundin ang ISIP for the Youth o scholarship program sa may 2,000 mag-aaral na makakatanggap ng P2,000 na financial assistance kada anim na buwan. Ipapasok rin sila sa Tulong Dunong Program ng CHED na may P15,000 na scholarship grant.
3,000 na benepisyaryo din ang natulungan ng Cash and Rice Distribution (CARD) Program sa CDO.
“Isa po ito sa programa ng ating mahal na Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. para labanan ang gutom at magbigay ng tulong sa pang-araw-araw na gastusin ng ating mga kababayan, lalo na yung bahagi ng ating mga vulnerable sectors. Isinasabay natin ito sa Serbisyo Fair para lahat ng malalaking siyudad tulad ng CDO at mga lalawigan ay kasama sa tulong pinansyal at rice aid. Nawa’y makatulong ito sa pagharap ng ating mamamayan sa hamon ng mataas na presyo ng bigas at pagkain,” ani Romualdez.
P1,000 ang ibinigay sa kanila pambili ng 25-kilos ng premium rice at P2,000 para sa iba pang pangangailangan. | ulat ni Kathleen Jean Forbes
