AFP, binati ang Atin Ito Coalition sa matagumpay na misyon sa Bajo de Masinloc

Binati ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ang Atin Ito Coaltion sa matagumpay na paglalayag ng civilian convoy patungo sa Bajo de Masinloc sa West Philippine Sea.

Ayon kay AFP Public Affairs Office Chief Colonel Xerxes Trinidad, nagkaroon ng malaking papel ang aktibidad sa pagpapalakas ng presensya ng Pilipinas sa West Philippine Sea, at pakikibaka para sa karapatan ng bansa sa naturang karagatan.

Sinabi ni Trinidad, na ang mga mapayapang aktibidad na katulad nito ay mahalaga para ipamalas ang pagkakaisa ng mga Pilipino sa pagtataguyod ng soberenya ng bansa, alinsunod sa international law.

Una nang idineklara ng Atin Ito Coalition na “mission accomplished”, matapos na makarating ang kanilang advance team noong May 15 sa 25-30 milya mula sa Bajo de Masinloc, at nakapagpamahagi ng krudo at pagkain sa tinatayang 144 Pilipinong mangingisda sa anim na mother boat at 36 na maliliit na banka. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
