Agad nakipag-ugnayan ang tanggapan ni Speaker Martin Romualdez sa DSWD upang mapabilis ang paglalabas mg nasa P2.5 million na tulong pinansyal sa 125 pamilyang nasunugan sa Brgy 58 sa Tondo nitong Hunyo 16.
Kada pamilya ay pagkakalooban ng P20,000 na financial aid sa pamamagitan ng AICS na ipapamahagi sa tulong ni Manila 1st District Rep. Ernesto “Ernix” Dionisio Jr., ayon kay House Deputy Secretary General Sofonias Gabonada Jr.
Dagdag ni Gabonada, inihahanda na rin ng Speaker’s Office at tanggapan ng Tingog party-list ang 400 food pack para sa mga biktima na mula sa kanilang personal calamity funds.
“Through the concerted efforts of the Office of Speaker Romualdez, Tingog Party-list and DSWD, we have mobilized immediate relief for the families devastated by the Tondo fire. Furthermore, an additional allocation from the AICS program has been provided, ensuring each affected family will receive P20,000 to help them recover and rebuild,” sabi ni Gabonada.
Malaki naman ang pasasalamat ni Dionisio sa mabilis na aksyon at suporta mula mismo kay Speaker Romualdez at kasamahang mambabatas.
