Isasagawa ngayong umaga ang ika-8 Inter-Agency Committee Meeting ng Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (APMCDRR) 2024 sa Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) sa Pasay City.
Ang pagpupulong na isinasagawa kada dalawang taon ay proyekto ng United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR).
Dito’y tatalakayin ng mga global leader at eksperto ang mga solusyon sa mga isyung may kinalaman sa disaster risk reduction at isusulong ang kooperasyon sa pagpapatupad ng “Sendai Framework” sa Asya Pasipiko.
Kabilang sa mga opisyal na inanyayahang dumalo sa aktibidad si Deprtment of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Maria Antonio Yulo-Loyzaga, Department of National Defense (DND) Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Secretary Cheloy Velicaria-Garafil, at iba pang miyembro ng Gabinete. | ulat ni Leo Sarne
