Mga senador, nanawagan sa publiko na huwag balewalain ang banta ng Mpox

Hinikayat ni Senator Loren Legarda ang publiko na huwag balewalain ang banta ng monkeypox o Mpox.

Ayon kay Legarda, kahit na iba ang dala nitong panganib kaysa sa COVID-19 ay kailangan pa ring maging mapagmatyag para maiwasan ang isa na namang lockdown.

Ganito rin ang naging panawagan ni Senate Committee on Health Chairperson Senator Christopher ‘Bong’ Go.

Sinabi ni Go, na dapat pa ring mag-ingat para huwag nang mangyari ang naganap noong 2020 sa COVID-19 pandemic na nabigla ang bansa at bumagsak ang ating healthcare system.

Pinaalala nina Legarda at Go kung paano umiwas sa highly communicable diseases o mga nakakahawang sakit gaya ng palaging paghuhugas ng kamay, pagsusuot ng face mask at social distancing.
