Mass blood donations, isinagawa ng PRC

Nagsagawa ang Philippine Red Cross (PRC) ng sabay-sabay na mass blood donation drives iba’t ibang lugar sa bansa.

Ito ay bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng National Heroes Day ngayong araw.

Ayon kay PRC Chairperson at CEO Richard Gordon, layon ng programang ito na lumikha ng mga makabagong paraan ng pagpapakita ng pagkamakabayan na makapagbibigay-inspirasyon sa mga Pilipino.

Sa harap ng tumataas na kaso ng dengue sa bansa, mahalaga ang dugo na makokolekta para sa mga pasyente.

Katuwang ang Philippine Army, nagsagawa ng blood donation drive ang PRC sa 24 na lugar sa buong bansa.

Kabilang sa mga lugar na ito ang Mandaluyong, Rizal, Pasig, Makati, Malabon, Laguna, Palawan, Sorsogon, Antique, Davao Oriental, South Cotabato, General Santos, Batanes, Batangas, Baguio, Cagayan, Zamboanga del Sur; at Iloilo. | ulat ni Diane Lear
